Develop use of recycled plastic material to reach 2000 tons in 2025 from 1000 tons in 2017
Terms of the action or commitment
Integrating recycled plastic material in closed loop is challenged by substance regulations for electronic and electric products. Therefore, open loop scheme where Legrand uses recycled plastic material stemming from other industries is mostly implemented. Such open loop scheme deployment requires cross sectorial manufacturers partnerships especially with the chemical industry and the support of public bodies such as ADEME through ORPLAST.
Progress on this action is followed through recycled plastic material consumption in French factories.
