Evolution of the types of services offered to include “selective deconstruction”
Terms of the action or commitment
Eiffage aims to propose a new service of material and equipment recovery that will facilitate conservation and upcycling. Eiffage will, in particular, create new logistical solutions and technical outlets for urban and industrial sites development. This action follows prior studies which identified priority waste fluxes and outlets (existing players, technical acceptability, volumes, constraints, etc.).

Company's comments
In September 2021, Eiffage laucnhed Demcy, its new trademark. It offers selective deconstruction with reuse of recovered waste/products. Demcy is able to propose bespoke solutions, starting with resue of products and equipments, matter recovery, waste recycling while favouring local economies and short supply chains.
The company formed close bonds with new partners (SMEs or Social and Solidarity companies) and has integrated them within its service offers.
Most of Demcy’s clients, designers and architects express a growing demand for selective deconstruction associated with on-site reuse whenever possible or ex-situ when not. 14 such work sites have been realised in 2021.
Process monitoring in 2022 is based on a digital tool enabling a site-based follow-up and a business-intellignece report sent to the managerial board.
