Project objective : Coordinate the efforts of both companies in order to offer the best sustainable material solutions to manufacturers and increase their green material content in new vehicles
Project description:
– A partnership was signed in late 2021 between Plastic Omnium and TotalEnergies.
– The partnership covers the various plastic recycling technologies (mechanical and chemical) but also bio-sourced plastics.
– The aim is to precisely define the sector’s needs and co-develop the most suitable materials. TotalEnergies is providing expertise in materials formulation and Plastic Omnium its industrial expertise in plastic transformation processes to transform them into automotive parts (injection, painting, assembly, etc.)
